Then the weight was still packing on, till I finally couldn't take it anymore. I got myself an awesome Rogue Echo bike for home and started walking more. Then, due to cost, we quit the gym and decided to take matters into our own hands. Weight Loss StrugglesĪfter gaining some weight post Covid, I was able to lose a little once life got a little more normal again. My husband and I finally got serious about our health and weight gain just before Covid-19 hit and then just like the rest of the world, gyms closed down and we stayed home and put on any weight we had lost. My weight started creeping up just a bit the last few years. I tried to avoid highly processed foods full of preservatives for the most part, but allowed myself to indulge a little from time to time, but in moderation. I consider myself sort of a foodie, but always was conscious of what I put in my mouth. I've always been a health conscious eater.
